Iowa Cubs, Beer & Fireflies
We really are having fun here! We are lucky enough to know a few families here(well just 2 families) and got invited to an Iowa Cubs game. I guess it's their triple A team like the Bee's. Anyways we took the boys and hung out in the humidity. I took some pictures of the beads of sweat on Kohen's nose (the boys get that in this humidity). Hopefully we can get you some pictures soon!
One funny thing, the beer guy was asking if anyone wanted cold beer, and Kaden thought he had some drinks for him. He was like "Oh good some drinks" then he saw the beer in the guys hand and said "It's only Bud Light" and was so disappointed that he didn't have anything else. I thought it was funny that he called it Bud Light like he actually knows what it is! Then Kohen copied the beer guy and kept saying "Cold Beer". Kaden was the big brother and told him that we don't drink beer!
On the way back to the car we got to see our first fireflies! They are too cute!
And last thing, Kaden will be starting school on August 14th so we will be getting that going here soon. And we think we found our house, more details on that to come.
