First Day of 2nd Grade

{One more week until school starts}

Time flies when you're having fun.

We are very lucky this year,

Kaden got the teacher that he wanted...Mrs. Renner

&

Kohen got into preschool at Kaden's school 4 days a week...100% funded by the state, so it's FREE!

This will be the only year that they will be at the same school together,

next year Kaden will move on to middle school which seems so crazy.

Kaden was asked to be on safety patrol and is looking forward to doing it.

He is not interested in band at all,

which most Iowan's will find strange I'm sure.

Band is huge in Iowa for some reason, not sure why it's so big here and not in Utah.

Or maybe that's just my opinion.

We got a letter from Kohen's preschool teacher stating this:

"We love to get mail! In fact, we have a kiddo every day that checks our mailbox.

You can even have your friends and relatives write notes as well. 

We will keep notes that we get and open one a day.

We will discuss who sent it, where it came from, and keep them in a book for the class to look through.
