First Day of 2nd Grade

{I'm back}

Here are the latest pics and updates from the last few weeks since our computer has been down.

We had a severe thunderstorm come through here Sunday night at 3am. 

Some areas had winds over 100 miles an hour.

It was one of the craziest storms we have experienced so far.

We went to the basement for about 30 minutes until the storm passed.

We had some water come in through the sliding door and this tree broke in half....

plus our power was out for 20 hours.

Thank you to my good friends who let us hang out at their house until the power came back on.

And for offerring to let us sleep at your house.

Luckily the power came back on at 11pm and we were able to sleep in our own beds.

It's one of those things you take for granted...

you don't realize how grateful you are for electricity until you don't have it.
