Capital City Classic Tournament

Ankeny Cubs take 1st place!!!

It has been so much fun hanging out with this team on the weekends!

These are such a great group of boys & I am so proud of them!

This weekend's tournament was in W. Des Moines and the boys were undefeated 4-0

Game 1: 17-2

Game 2: 12-3

Game 3: 17-1

Game 4: 13-10

 

Kaden played catcher most of the time throwing two kids out at third and another tag out at home!

He has been trying to come out of a hitting slump which is due to the fact that he keeps getting hit by the pitcher....

 

He doesn't normally strike out but had a few this weekend.

But after reviewing a few of the so-called strikes on video I have proof

that a few of them were just really bad calls...

EXAMPLE:

He made up for it by getting a big hit in the last game down the third base line...
