Saylorville Lake

This winter has made the top 10 list for snowiest winters in Des Moines history.
Yay, just my luck!...anyway we went to Saylorville Lake to check out the spillway,
they are draining the lake to try to prevent flooding.  It was awesome!

I didn't know they did that... looks really cool!!! I was just at saylorville to see the Bald Eagles last Thursday :)
