Fireflies

The fireflies have made their first appearance of the summer...what an amazing sight to see! I wish I could take the credit for this photo but it's not mine, I found it HERE . I think we are going to get a jar and start catching some fireflies. There is something magical about seeing a firefly...like the photographer of this photo said "I think deep down I'm still 5, because last night I had an incredible amount of fun catching fireflies."

that is a totally groovy picture. I picked up one of those "blue" Bell jars in an antique shop somewhere between AZ and UT. Love it. If i lived by you, you could use my jar and we could watch fireflies all night (your family and mine). That would be totally groovy too!

Yea, they're back, I can't wait to see them when we come out there. I remember the first time I saw them as a little girl visiting my grandma in Erie, Pa.

I've always wanted to catch a firefly, I love them. I wanted to do Marley's room in fireflies, but opted to go with the dot theme.

I'm way behind on looking at your blog. It was cool to see the fireflies when we did the webcam. The smile on Kaden's face said it all. Kohen even looked at us. Usually he hides his face. Maybe we'll be able to come out sometime to visit when the fireflies are out.
