Labor Day Weekend

It felt a little weird not having our family to hang out with this weekend. Usually Labor Day consists of BBQ's or camping with family. But we managed to have fun without everyone and hung out at Big Creek at Saylorville Lake. It had a nice sandy beach area for the kids to play and Kaden loved swimming in the water. Hot and humid would describe the weather here. We can't wait for it to cool down! We hope everyone had a great Labor Day Weekend! I hear it was a little cool in SLC, gotta love how the weather is crazy around the holidays there!













We really have enjoyed our own family time together, we still miss everyone, but it's been fun doing things just as a family and building our family relationship.

Sounds like you guys had fun too! These are the things that will keep you busy when family isn't around. Keep doing them, you'll remember it forever. And besides, when else can you visit small town America?

I love viewing your blogs, even though we didn't do anything for the holiday, I felt like I visited the lake with you guys and the red rocks of Arizona with Addy. Cute pictures of the boys!

i know this blogging world is fun! yea my babies aren't babies anymore but i'm going to keep calling them babies! we moved out of our house in daybreak in October of last year and bought a house out in West Jordan. we love it. how's being away from home? i bet its hard but such a fun adventure.

Hot and humid must go hand in hand with frogs and toads. That is so fun. My kids are catching toads everywhere too. SO FUN!
