{No Shave November & other junk}

Well guys, Regan isn't shaving this month so this is what we've been looking at the last few weeks.
And you can tell that he does have hair on his head but he just chooses to shave because he is balding.
He claims that in December he will shave his beard and leave the mustache....now that will be scary!
Help me people!

Now here's a cute picture to help erase the previous picture from your memory...

He still carries around his blankies that he's had since birth.
I think I will finally give in and buy him some new ones this Christmas.
He is very picky though and only likes the Target ones.
He likes to rub the stitching on the edge, smell them and always reminds me when they need to get washed.
It's funny, he'll smell them and if they are fresh out of the wash he loves it.
Crazy Kohen.

We had the amazing opportunity to have Russel M Nelson come to Iowa for our stake conference.
I went to the adult session and I just have to say that he is an amazing man!
I was just eating up everything he said, almost like he was talking just to me.
A few quotes...
"Never, never, never give up"
He was talking about missionary work and to never give up on those who have fallen
away from the church or those who have yet to hear the gospel.

"Don't be a nag"
He was talking about how he was always nagging his parents about joining the church
until finally he realized that people don't want to be around a nag so he stopped.
Then when they were in their 80's they called him up one day and said they were ready to go to the temple.

"If you were perfect you wouldn't be here"
He said this a few times.

There were several other things said at conference that just brought hope, joy and love.
I came home from the adult session and asked Kaden if he wanted to go with me to
the Sunday session. He was actually excited to meet an apostle so he came with me.
During the session Elder Nelson asked all the primary kids to stand.
Then he asked them all to wave to him.
It was a really neat experience.
And afterwards Kaden and I were able to go up and shake his hand.
I just love Elder Nelson!

Last thing,
if you haven't tried roasted pine nut hummus you need to.
I am addicted to the stuff.
It sounds gross and looks gross, but I swear it's delicious!
Costco has a huge tub of it for $7.

Dad is doing the Novembeard junk too. He looks awful too. I'll have to take a picture. At least Regan's facial hair is dark. Dad's is grey. Love the pictures of Kohen as always.

Love,
MOM
